The National TVET Registry provides the NTA with the ability to efficiently manage:
- Assessment Centres
- Assessors
- Registered Training Providers
- Candidates
- Qualification Plans and Units
The Grenada National Training Agency is a national body established in 2009 with a mandate to oversee the development and delivery of TVET programmes that will play a role in facilitating social and economic development in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Matinique by equipping persons with the required skills and competencies for employment in the various productive sectors.
The Grenada National Training Agency was established in accordance with a CARICOM mandate and has received CARICOM approval to award the Caribbean Vocational Qualifications.".
Objectives of TVET Registry
- To coordinate, harmonize, standardize, monitor and evaluate all TVET in Grenada through the establishment of a National TVET system
- To collect, store and retrieve information about training providers within the TVET system
- To create an inventory of TVET skills within a centralized database
- To create a database of job vacancies, job opportunities and training needs
- To provide real time TVET information to the general public
- To provide training providers with access to technology and management information systems for data collection and information output.
